Masterminding with the RIGHT People
There is an Old adage, “show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”
What is the meaning of a friend? Is she someone who will inspire you, call you out, and support you? Is that what your current peers do for you?
Do you know you can measure where your life will be in 5 years by looking at the people you spend time with? Your income and success will be an average of the people you spend the most time with.
We  thrive in a social setting that supports our ideals and goals. Many of us don’t have family members or associates that give us the kind of support that is so important to keeping us on track and accountable. Now there is a key word “Accountable” How many of us put our goals down on paper and then it gets tucked away until we clean out the junk drawer. Sharing your dreams and goals with someone who will challenge you and congratulate you will make you be accountable for what you put out there into the universe.
We are influenced and empowered by the people we spend the most time with. Who are your mastermind buddies? Who do you trust to guide you? Who’ s opinion do you value? Masterminding is an exchange of ideas and ideals. Make a list of everyone that you have in your life, that you can count on to be honest, and accountable. Make a list of the people that you know that you admire, people that you would like to model your life after. These are the people that you need to mentor with, build a social network around. Your energies will gravitate to the energies of who you spend time with. Is it time to reassess the influences in your life?
